Dr. Timothy Hays
Tim is a Midwesterner from Indiana — spent several years in Los Angeles — raised kids
and built a strong AI career in Maryland — then moved to Tampa where he met his
beautiful wife, Ilene, and they enjoy the weather, natural springs, wildlife, and
great community in Tampa Bay.
Tim Hays created Smooth Turtle, to help educate small businesses, smart
non-techie’s, and interested groups how AI can be transformative to your daily
life (yes, your life). These tools can give you instant and authoritative information
(can show citations). We all have access to these tools for free, but many just
haven’t been taught its high value not to mention its ease of use from the very
start. Let us show y’all.
Tim has been an entrepreneur at heart since he was in grade school and had a
“paper” route. Since then his interest in driving innovation advanced.
To that end, his focus has been on diverse analytics (AI), small business redesign,
strategy development, communications, biomedical research, and information technology (IT).
Tim also ran his own company as a sole proprietorship for 12 years, helping companies
start new practice areas in health and analytics — giving him firsthand experience
not just in AI, but in what it actually takes to run a business.
